Net neutrality is a fairly basic idea—that everyone should have equal access to the internet, and that internet providers should not be able to dictate which content gets to your devices faster. So it should be just as easy (and fast) to check youth sports scores as it is to read about the dangers of youth tackle football. However, the Federal Communications Commission (FCC) is working to roll back net neutrality, which would allow internet service providers to legally prioritize content and services they own over those they don’t, throttle speeds, and even block sites.

Stop the Tax Scam

The Republican tax plan is terrible and getting worse. The current version threatens reproductive rights, Medicare, student finances, and the environment. They’ve even resurrected Zombie Trumpcare. The tax bill is wildly—and justly—unpopular, but Congressional Republicans are more interested in pleasing their donors than serving the public. We’re expecting a vote this week. It’s time to get calling.
