We’re over a week into Black History Month. Thanks largely to the tireless advocacy of black historian Dr. Carter G. Woodson (1875–1950), Black History Month gives “a stage to the work black Americans had already done and were continuing to do, whether others recognized it or not,” as political scientist Jenn Jackson writes in Teen Vogue. Celebrate black history with MCW by—as usual—taking action.
