While the 2020 presidential election is over, the battle for the Senate is still happening. In Georgia, there are two separate runoff races on January 5th, one between Democrat Raphael Warnock and Republican Kelly Loeffler, the other between Democrat Jon Ossoff and Republican David Perdue. If Democrats win both seats, they will control the Senate.

Happy four years! (And urgent covid-19 relief actions)

This week at MCW, we are celebrating our four-year anniversary! Well, technically, our four-year anniversary was a few weeks ago, just after the 2020 election. But we were focused on the election itself and forgot to mark the milestone. Thank you, wonderful subscribers, for taking action with us week after week. Happy four years!

Open Enrollment is.... Open!

The Supreme Court has heard the California v. Texas case challenging the Affordable Care Act, and the result is looking favorable for the ACA. Meanwhile, the ACA is still very much in place, and open enrollment for 2021 healthcare will run until December 15th. Enrollment numbers have started strong so far, but if you need to get a new healthcare plan or renew/change your old one, make sure to get started and apply as soon as possible.
