Since Robert Mueller’s testimony last week, the number of Democratic members of Congress who are openly pushing for impeachment proceedings against the president has surged. This week we’re going to reverse the usual order of exercises in order to best understand and act on the growing calls for Trump’s impeachment.
Oh SNAP...
An estimated 3.1 million people—equivalent to the entire population of Iowa—are in danger of losing the food assistance they currently receive from the federal government’s Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP). Why? It’s deliberate. The Trump administration has decided to change SNAP’s eligibility requirements. Fortunately, because the change in the eligibility requirements come from the Department of Agriculture, there is a mandatory public comment period before it can go into effect. Time to put on your action shorts.
