From calling certain countries "shitholes"to advocating for a 50% reduction in immigration, Trump has pushed the dialog on American immigration from conservatism to plain white supremacist. There are over 37 million immigrants in the US: they are our neighbors, friends, and family. 2017 was one of the hottest years on record, marked by patterns of extreme weather. While the science of hurricanes is complicated, climate experts have found clear links between the severity of hurricane-related flooding and climate change. Global warming can moreover be held responsible for devastating wildfires in California and heatwaves worldwide. These are not issues to be chill about.
