Right now, U.S.–North Korea relations are frankly terrifying to a lot of people. Experts such as William J. Perry, the secretary of defense under President Clinton, have pointed out that Trump’s Twitter-based ridicule of Kim Jong-un is extremely dangerous. Congress may not be able to rein in Trump’s Twitter account, but they can rein in the president's control over nuclear weapons. Time to take action, because recent events are no laughing matter.

This is a tragedy, but also an outrage.
